In 2008, Michel Kahrs founded KAHRS GmbH to realise his innovative concept: To sell wood exclusively online. Since its launch, the company has grown steadily and expanded to a timber wholesaler that now has its own warehouse and imports timber by container to its headquarters in Bremen´s industrial harbour. Selling happens through two online shops: The wholesale shop “Holz Kahrs” serves the demand for the renewable material for timber & construction trade as well as industry & craft. Our multi-award-winning “Holzhandel Deutschland” shop is available to end customers and provides information on all kinds of interesting facts and guides about wood in a wide range of categories with its inbuilt “HOLZwelten” advice magazine.

Webcustoms IT Solutions GmbH was founded in 2014 by Michel Kahrs. Previously part of KAHRS GmbH as an IT department and now based in the same building, the team of experts combines its experience from the timber trade with expertise in the areas of software engineering, e-commerce and digital marketing. Using customised software, the agency develops tailored shop solutions as well as suitable interfaces for companies of all sizes. From the creation of websites, optimising these sites for search engines – Webcustoms IT Solutions implements your ideas in a targeted manner.

“Timberty – Timber for Eternity” stands for the use of wood according to sustainable and ressouce-conserving standards and was founded in 2018 by Michel Kahrs.
